Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 319 - Floating Train

One could see all kinds of races on the neutral Planet Noa.

Irrespective of whether they were beautiful or hideous, it was a magnificent sight for those who had never seen a foreign race in their entire life.

Shane might have seen the Elus-race and forest elves, but that didn\'t mean that seeing the races in front of him was any less interesting.

Out of all the races one could see, the gaseous and liquefied ones were the fewest in number, while the majority of races had physiques that were similar to humans.

This was an intriguing fact and one of the human prodigies asked Commander Nuyra about this.

When that happened, Shane couldn\'t help but smile lightly as nobody knew for sure as to why most races had a bipedal body.

There was a theory that it was one of the most efficient kinds of constitutions one could have, but Shane was not certain about that.

In the end, millions of races survived all kinds of calamities despite being in a gaseous state, so looking like a human couldn\'t be an advantage all the time.. With two arms and legs, one could work in better synchrony and escape enemies pretty well, but there were other means to do the same too!

However, what Shane didn\'t expect from Commander Nuyra was that he acknowledged that the question itself was a difficult one that interested many races.

"Mankind has come a long way since the race first appeared and there are many theories about evolution, and many of them revolve around the theory that the strongest survive.

As long as only the strongest survive, the weak genes won\'t be relayed to the next generation. With that being said mutations occur quite often, and adverse mutations are less likely to allow someone to procreate, right? As such, you could say that most races have evolved through millions of years in order to receive the most efficient constitution to survive in the environment they\'re living in!"

Shane almost clapped his hands, thinking that Commander Nuyra was better than he had imagined. However, before he could do that, the commander had already marched ahead and asked them to follow him.

Next to the several hundred-meter tall spaceship hangar, that caused everyone to feel a tinge of reverence, was a floating train that looked similar, yet much grander than the MHV-train on Igra.

Not only was it larger in all aspects, and could float, but the mana radiating from it was also several times higher compared to the best manufactured train on Igra.

Though it paled in comparison to the spaceship hangar that was in fact, a huge building construction made out of metals, Shane had never seen before.

Furthermore, the small runes engraved onto every inch of the hangar and the radiating mana, allowed everyone to understand that spaceships were extremely important for the neutral planet.

"Why does the spaceship hangar look so important? Isn\'t it better to use the Dimension portals??"

A young man next to Shane asked, and commander Nuyra was about to answer when Shane had already launched a detailed explanation.

"There are many races that do not want to enter the Primordial Dimension, even less awaken the system. As such, they\'re unable to use the Dimension portals, and so they have to resort to using spaceships.

This might seem disadvantageous, but aren\'t you even a little bit suspicious about the system\'s administrator, or why the system even supports us?

Furthermore, the techniques provided by the system might seem grand, but I\'ve heard that there are other races, who are said to have created their own martial art skills and mana purification techniques to establish a strong foundation!"

Shane\'s answer was more than the young man next to him had asked for, and Shane was about to explain more when he noticed that everyone eyed him weirdly.

"Well...Shane is correct, there are many races that don\'t like the system for whatever reason they may have!" Commander Nuyra said, trying to snatch back the spotlight from him.

It was interesting to see that Shane was curious about foreign races and their decision to question the system\'s true purpose, however, most people were scared of the system\'s punishment.

As such, they would never say what Shane had said, out loud.

"Let\'s enter the floating train and meet up with the other basic races!"

After Commander Nuyra had given his order, he approached the train station where several trains had already stationed themselves against the platform.

It was not long after that everyone purchased a ticket with the gold coins they had exchanged with Niar, the currency of the neutral planet, Noa.

Once everyone had boarded the floating train, it started its journey towards its destination. that would take them to the other side of the planet in only 7 hours.

As such, there was more than enough time left for everyone to rest or to prepare themselves mentally before they were to encounter twenty-plus basic races.

Shane didn\'t do much, except talking with Miriam, Aisha, and Frer who were sitting with him in the train\'s four-seaters.

The topics they were talking about were versatile, and Shane had also spoken about his world mana awakening and the fact that the most important discount \'self-earned\' would disappear after one last use.

This interested the three girls very much, but when they inquired how many funds Shane planned to invest in the mana heart awakening and how much he had already saved up, they were dumbfounded to hear his answer.

"You...have more than 80 million gold coins?!?! HOW?"

Everyone heard Miriam exclaiming loudly, which was something that rarely happened to their strongest prodigy of the youngest generation.

Thus, everybody focused their attention on them.

Shane was already glared at by the other young men that would have loved to exchange their seats with him.

However, nobody cared about them, and the three girls were only paying attention to Shane.

"Didn\'t I already tell you guys? The Astral Artisans reconstructed the entire RadiantRing shelter? Haven\'t you seen it, or heard any news about it? They\'ve become quite popular since then!"

It was impossible for Shane to hide how proud he was, and it was only when Frer, who hadn\'t activated her unique ability to switch off her emotions, said shyly.

"I think...I\'ve h-heard about it!"

Shane nodded his head vigorously and it was only then that both Aisha and Miriam opened PrimWeb to quickly search for it.

"Weren\'t there only 8 students as members in your Astral Artisans? How come the articles state that there are more than 1000? Have you already expanded your Artisan hall by so much?"

Instead of simply nodding his head, Shane decided to brag about his achievements for a change.

As such, he showed the three girls everything he had achieved. Whether it was about the Astral Artisans, the Starlight guild, or the entire faction.

In the end, he showed them the nurturing grounds of both Artisans and combatants too.

"Isn\'t that the Neptua Ladra region?"

He didn\'t reveal anything about Levi and Lily because it was not necessary.

Instead, he thought it was better to have a few safety measures in place that almost nobody was aware of.

In the end, the floating train arrived at their final destination before they could figure out what kind of mana heart awakening Shane should choose.

However, everyone was of the opinion that he should save up some more in order to prevent the need to upgrade the mana heart every few years.

It was better to make one grand investment and reap more benefits from the best possible mana heart awakening!
